Well, according to authorities at the Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office, 22-year-old Anthony Alvey was caught smuggling a cellphone in his rectal cavity during a transfer to the facility on April 30, KSLA-TV reported.

He admitted his crime and was taken to a medial facility where he removed it himself.

The Caddo Correctional Center bought two body scanners in 2013 for a total of $384,000 and scans every incoming inmate.
