Something Absolutely Fascinating Happens After Nesting Birds Get 'Locked' Inside Underground Parking Garage

When a group of nesting swallows suddenly became locked inside an underground parking garage after locking doors were added, something pretty incredible happened. The birds actually learned how to open the doors — and rather quickly.

The swallows apparently taught themselves how to trigger the motion detectors that open the doors, giving them the ability to come and go as they please.

Maybe we should stop using the phrase “bird brain” as an insult. Check out the video, which started going viral earlier this month, below:
