A Florida man called 911 approximately seven times to report to authorities that his wife had disposed of his beer, West Palm Beach police said Monday.
When police responded to a 911 call made by Carlos Bueno Mir, 49, he appeared intoxicated and told them that his wife had "thrown out his beer," WESH-TV reported, citing a police report. The officers told the 49-year-old that it was not an emergency which warranted the use of the 911 system.
That didn't seem to get through to Bueno Mir.

After officers left the scene, the 49-year-old called 911 again — this time becoming argumentative with the operator and failing to elaborate on what the emergency was, according to WESH. He allegedly started yelling that a female had broken into two of his beers.
A total of seven calls were ultimately made during a span of just four hours, police say.
Bueno Mir now faces charges of misusing the 911 system.
