July deadline for Iran nuclear deal appears in jeopardy, Israel Needs Your Support

Blaze Iran 2

Since 1948, Israel has been recognized as the independent and sovereign Jewish state by most of the world, including the U.S. However, it’s no secret that Iran (one of Israel’s neighbors in the Middle East) refuses to acknowledge the Jewish state and has promised to see to its destruction.

Amid threats to annihilate Israel, Iran continues to provide funding, weapons, and training for terrorist organizations around the world. Among these terror groups are Hamas and Hezbollah, which are notorious for controlling the Gaza Strip (Hamas) and southern Lebanon (Hezbollah).

Through its proxy armies, Hamas and Hezbollah, Iran has been able to indirectly wage war on the Jewish state for years.

Unfortunately, the international community has done little more than acknowledge Iran’s violent threats against Israel. Even more troubling is the nuclear deal that Iran and world powers agreed to late last year.

A six-month trial period for future negotiations is almost up, a deal that put the brakes on regulations for the Iranian nuclear program, allowing them to expand capabilities and enrich uranium up to five percent. This may not seem like much, but given the opportunity to advance nuclear technology, Iran is inches from creating a nuclear weapon. While some diplomats are optimistic about the deal, many others (Israel, Saudi Arabia, and even the majority of the U.S. Congress) are wary of Iran’s intentions. They fear that Iran will sidestep these new rules and continue down the path of nuclear warfare. Iran has, after all, promised to do so.

The International Fellowship of Christians and Jews, founded by Rabbi Yechiel Eckstein in 1983, is an organization that promotes understanding between Christians and Jews around the world. Their vision is that Jews and Christians will work together to reverse their 2,000-year history of discord and replace it with a relationship marked by dialogue, respect, and cooperation.

You can help foster strong support for Israel and her allies right now.

When you support The Fellowship, you’re giving to a community that has helped hundreds of thousands of Jews escape poverty and anti-Semitism by helping them to return to their biblical homeland. Your support also funds humanitarian assistance that has touched the lives of millions of Jews worldwide, and provides life-giving aid to Israel’s victims of war and terror.

Every day, Iran gets closer to producing its own nuclear weapon. Who will stand for Israel, the nation that’s a target for annihilation?
