"Oakland A’s left fielder Yoenis Cespedes is fast becoming a star in Major League Baseball. On Tuesday night, he proved why."
That's how we started our article on Wednesday regarding Cespedes and his amazing throw. Today, we could have started it the same way and just changed the day after Cespedes made a nearly identical play on Wednesday night.
Once again, an Angels player lined the ball to left field. And once again Cespedes bobbled the ball. As the hitter, Albert Pujols, tried to stretch his hit into a triple, Cespedes wound up and took aim.
He was dead on.
