"I was running for my life, I'm telling you."
It seemed like a scene out of the Bible or an Alfred Hitchcock movie: an enormous swarm of bees surrounded a Spring, Texas home on Friday and appeared to be searching for entry into the home.
But it was the neighbors, not the occupants of the home, who were really frightened.
"I was running for my life, I'm telling you," Robbie Detho told KHOU-TV.
Detho took photos of the swarm on the home of his neighbor, Nick Erskine.

Detho also rigged up creative apparel to get to and from his car: a trash bag suit covering his entire body.

Despite his neighbors' fear, and the fact that the bees were crawling into siding close to the room his children sleep in, Erskine didn't seem to be too upset by the predicament.
"It's one of those natural surprises that you don't plan for," Erskine said.
He told KHOU-TV he'll probably get a beekeeper or an exterminator to come handle the problem; so far it seems the bees haven't made it inside the home.
