Looking for some summer reads? Here are five books that Glenn Beck is reading from TheBlaze chalkboard
June 23, 2014
Read what Glenn's reading this summer.
For those who are unfamiliar, TheBlaze's Dallas studios are a constantly evolving workspace organized to serve as an open, collaborative, creative area for producing content.
Stated differently, they're pretty cool.
One recent addition is the below chalkboard, which gives some insight into the collective consciousness of Glenn Beck and the rest of the Mercury Radio Arts and Blaze family.
As readers know, Glenn and many of our employees are avid readers.
One part of the chalkboard that reflects this is a designated area for book recommendations -- both Glenn's and those of other employees.
Below are five of the books that Glenn is reading, along with his commentary, all of which should make for some great summer reading.

4. Leaders Eat Last by Simon Sinek
On what this book is all about: "The idea that the corner office is dead. That leadership begins at refilling the coffee pot and not in the grand gestures. Also, that when we work as a team, the world changes." [More here]
5. The Fountainhead by Ayn Rand
"Fountainhead! Really? I have to explain? Never give up in what you believe. Never give up in what you believe. You may spend your life broke but you will be the wealthiest person you know if you can find value in YOU."
