A man left customers horrified on Monday morning when he walked into a McDonald’s in Queens, New York, with a knife sticking out of his back.
The man was reportedly stabbed in the back by an unknown assailant, but he was somehow able to walk to the restaurant where he got on his cellphone.
“He was on the phone, I’m pretty sure he was on the phone talking to somebody in his family or a loved one or something, he was talking to them and telling them it might be the last time he’s speaking to them,” one witness told CBS New York.
Another witness told 1010 WINS that man was stabbed during a fight that occurred on Monday.
Bystanders reportedly made sure the man didn’t collapse and fall onto his back until emergency responders arrived on the scene. The victim was said to be in serious condition at Jamaica Hospital on Tuesday.
“Police are looking to speak with two men who they believe had been arguing with the victim before he stumbled into the McDonald’s with blood pouring out of his back,” CBS New York reports.
