How much of your life has been spent cutting grapes or cherry tomatoes in half for various recipes or for young children? OK, admittedly not that much, but just wait until you see how much time you could have been saving all along if cutting grapes in half has been a priority for you.
Laura Mullins Goodhue was recently wowed but the trick she said her husband has held back on for the last 10 years.
"He just now shows me," she wrote on Facebook. "For friends who have little ones — life changer."
For everyone else — it's still a life changer.
Watch the video in Goodhue's Facebook post to see how you could have been cutting all your grapes or cherry tomatoes at one time, instead of individually:
Apparently others were pretty impressed with the husband's trick as well, given that the post has been shared nearly 65,000 times on Facebook after being put up Sunday. The blog Scary Mommy labeled him "the most genius husband in the universe" for the skill.
If you didn't know about this trick until now, don't feel bad. Rob Goodhue, Laura Goodhue's husband, is an executive chef at a country club in Florida, according to his Facebook profile, so it's his job to know secrets like this.
Now you can go forth and impress people with your culinary skill as well.
