NFL Player Does Something ‘Very Cool’ After Seeing Marine on Plane: ‘I Truly Appreciate Our Troops’

"“He doesn’t know it yet..."

NFL player DeAngelo Williams is known for his moves on the football field, but it's the first-class act he performed for a Marine that garnered attention Monday.

The Carolina Panther tweeted from his verified account a picture of a man in his dress uniform, alongside a business class ticket.

"I always give up my seat to military if my seat is better!" Williams wrote. "I truly appreciate our troops."

The running back also posted the image to Facebook, explaining that the man was unaware of his act of generosity.

“He doesn’t know it yet but he will be sitting in this seat when he boards the plane I always give up my 1st class seat! #isalutethetroops,” he wrote.

The move quickly earned Williams praise on Twitter, with some saying that the move was "very cool."
