A video making the rounds Friday shows Elizabeth Warren being confronted by someone asking her thoughts on Israel and it's ground invasion of Gaza. Her response? A raised hand, a shake of the head and a beeline down the hall.
"Senator, as you know, Israel invaded Gaza today and we just wanted to get your thoughts on that,” Capitol City Project’s Joe Schoffstall is heard saying in the video:
To be fair, the senator could have been in a rush and unprepared for the question. That said, it's not that odd to expect a major public figure to comment on world affairs, if only briefly. And some have noted this is common practice for her.
The possible 2016 presidential contender was attending the liberal Netroots Nation conference.
