Footage From African Wildlife Reserve Captures Event Apparently So ‘Rare’ the ‘Guide’s Mouth Dropped Open’

A new video posted online Monday shows a crocodile face off with a pack of lions at an African reserve.

“My family and I managed to catch an extremely rare event on camera during our recent trip to the Samburu National Reserve in Kenya,” the individual who captured the footage wrote on YouTube. “We knew it was something special when our guide's mouth dropped open as soon as the lions jumped onto the crocodile.”

The incident occurred at the Samburu National Reserve on August 6, according to the video. At the time of publication, the incredible footage had amassed just over 20,000 views.
