Before the fight on the field erupted, police broke up a fight in the stands.
Three people were arrested and one player was hospitalized after a bench-clearing brawl at a high school football game in Ohio that prompted a response from several police departments, reported WJW-TV in Cleveland.
The game between Garfield Heights and Collinwood was canceled due to the brawl, which police said was triggered by cheap shot after a play was over, WJW reported.
Before the fight on the field erupted, police broke up a fight in the stands, the station noted.
