A new map released by a business design firm and Food Fenius purports to reveal each state's most distinctive eating habit.
According to a blog post on their website, Co.Design said they teamed up with the food industry analytics business to craft the map marking each state's "true crown jewel food."
"What you’re looking at isn’t the most popular food by state," the blog said. "It’s the food that most distinguishes them from the rest of the pack."
According to the map, prawn dominates the west coast, winning affection from Washington, Oregon and California. Texans appear to enjoy jalapeño peppers, while individuals residing in New Mexico are fans of green chile.
