Taliban Claims Responsibility for Car Bomb Attack That Killed Three Foreign Troops

KABUL, Afghanistan (TheBlaze/AP) — The NATO-led international military coalition in Afghanistan says that a car bomb attack struck one of its convoys in Kabul, killing two American troops and one Polish service member and wounding five others, according to Fox News.

The attack, which happened on a main road in Kabul, unfolded next to an ISAF base that houses many Americans.

The Taliban claimed responsibility for the attack, which occurred just a couple hundred yards (meters) from the U.S. Embassy.
