Would You Pay Money for a Mason Jar of Oscar-Winning Actor's Breath?

"I don't know if Kevin Spacey knows anything about dovetail joints or how to work an auger..."

Given actor Kevin Spacey's Oscar-winning performance in the 1999 film "American Beauty," and it's hard to discount that the thespian could have agreed to an off-the-wall stunt or two in between scenes.

Specifically, donating a waft of his breath into a mason jar that hasn't been opened since.

Wherever you fall on the Ripley's scale, the alleged treasure is being sold on Craigslist.

And you can make an offer.

Here's the skinny from the seller:

I got this for my mother while working on the set of American Beauty. She was a huge Kevin Spacey fan before she passed away, I think because he resembled her first husband that loved woodwork. I don't know if Kevin Spacey knows anything about dovetail joints or how to work an auger, but apparently he likes breathing into jars. Anyway, this is real, it's his actual breath in there.

Most intriguing is the added tidbit that Spacey ate "some sort of chicken pasta for lunch" with the seller just before he asked the actor to blow in the jar.

TheBlaze emailed the seller to see if any offers have come in but didn't receive an immediate response.

We're not holding our breath.
