The radical Islamist preacher who recently told Sean Hannity that “Sharia will be implemented in America” was reportedly arrested during terror raids in London on suspicion of being members of a banned terror organization.
Imam Anjem Choudary was one of nine men arrested and held by police in London, BBC reported. Officials said the terror raids were not in response to any immediate terror threat to the public.

The Met Police’s Counter Terrorism Command carried out the raids and are reportedly searching 18 premises in London and one in Stoke-on-Trent, according to BBC.
Choudary, who is the former UK leader of the banned radical Islamist group al-Muhajiroun or Islam4UK, recently appeared on Hannity’s TV show, where he refused to condemn radical Islam or the Islamic State.
Hannity grew increasingly agitated with the imam, at one point telling him, “every radical Islamist like you will be wiped off the face of the earth.”
Choudary replied, “I’m afraid you are living in a dream world. The Sharia will be implemented in America. He also advocates for Britain becoming an Islamic state.
