Men's Health Magazine Ignites Online Controversy After Sending Out This 'Sexist' Tweet

"Seriously @MensHealthMag?"

Men's Health Magazine ignited a firestorm of controversy after sending out a tweet denounced as "sexist" Monday night.

The tweet featured a graphic that said, "How to talk about sports with women" and linked to an article providing instructions on how to do just that.

"Not all women share your passion for sports, in case you hadn't noticed. The reason? They need story lines," the article's first paragraph read.

Immediately after publishing the tweet, individuals on the Internet hit back.

"WHAT? Good god, what year is this?" one person tweeted.

Another upset reader told the magazine to "kindly go f*** yourself." That sentiment was echoed by a host of other individuals who tweeted "f*** you" at the publication.

Most, however, accused the magazine of sexism.
