MTV Reality Star Diem Brown Dies After Third Battle With Cancer — and See the Incredibly Touching Tribute One Journalist Wrote

"I've always told you, you are my earth angel."

Reality TV star Diem Brown has lost her decade-long battle with cancer.

The 32-year-old star of MTV's "Real World/Road Rules Challenge" passed away Friday morning at 10:22 a.m., according to People Magazine.

Brown, who was admitted to a New York City hospital Sunday, had taken to Twitter this week to implore her followers to pray for her as she struggled with her third battle with cancer, telling fans that doctors appeared to be giving up, but that she was fighting on.

She asked for “prayers, advice, support and outreach.”

“I NEED PRAyErs and advice my doctors are seemingly giving up but I won’t & can’t rollover,” Brown wrote. “Whatever option I have to LIVE I’m grabbing!”

Her good friend Alicia Quarles, a correspondent for E! News, wrote the following on Instagram and Twitter not long after the news broke on Friday:

"I've always told you, you are my earth angel. Now, you are our heavinly angel. I see you dancing in heaven with your mother and grandmother. I promise to live the best life possible for both of us. Thank you for teaching me grace, faith, tenacity and for the gift of Medgift.com You and I will never end. You are my true, dear love."

Brown overcame ovarian cancer twice before this latest battle, being first diagnosed with the disease when she was just 23 years old.

She had a recurrence in 2012 and then was told in August that cancer was found her stomach and colon; it subsequently spread to her lymph nodes and liver, People reported.

This is a breaking news story. Stay tuned for updates.
