Shock video posted online Tuesday shows a driver plow through a crowd of Ferguson protesters blocking traffic in Minneapolis.
The group of demonstrators were expressing their disagreement with Monday's grand jury decision near a local police department by blocking traffic, according to the Star Tribune.
A vehicle approached the demonstrators and the driver began honking the car's horn. When protesters did not move out of the way, the vehicle was seen driving through traffic, appearing to run over a woman.
The vehicle then came to a halt and angry protesters began banging on the car, appearing to smash the vehicle's windshield. Eventually, the vehicle escaped the crowd and continued driving on the road while demonstrators chased it away.
The injuries of the woman hit by the vehicle were not immediately clear. An Associated Press photograph captured medics tending to her at the scene.
