Ferguson Protesters Didn’t Just March Through the Streets on Black Friday — They Had an Extra Surprise for New Yorkers

"No Justice, No Peace!"

Demonstrators upset with the recent Ferguson grand jury decision took to the streets of New York City Friday to march and express their disapproval — however, they also added a special "Black Friday" twist.

According to the New York Post, demonstrators entered the city's iconic Macy's and shamed the deal-seeking shoppers for their discount purchases.

The protesters had gathered in the early afternoon to protest the grand jury not to indict Ferguson officer Darrel Wilson in the shooting death of Michael Brown. Other participants aimed to march against black Friday.

The group brandished signs like "No Justice, No Peace" and clogged streets before arriving outside Macy's. That's when a few managed to make it inside the department store, the Post reported.

Police reportedly arrested at least two marchers during the demonstrations, the Post reported. However, it was unclear if those individuals were among the group that made it inside the Macy's store.
