A South Carolina man was caught red-handed allegedly raping his nephew’s girlfriend in a bedroom on Thursday — and it resulted in a brutal beatdown for the suspect.
The nephew, who has not been identified, reportedly found 52-year-old William Mattson on top of his girlfriend in a bedroom at a home in Conway, South Carolina. The boyfriend responded by repeatedly striking the rape suspect with his fists.
As seen in the suspect’s mugshot, he got more than a few good licks in.

The boyfriend ultimately pushed Mattson out of the house and onto the front lawn. Police eventually arrived at around 12:57 a.m. on Thursday and arrested the rape suspect.
The boyfriend has not been charged over the incident and police said he was “acting in defense for the victim.”
Mattson was transported to the J. Reuben Long Detention Center and will face charges related to the alleged sexual assault.
