With 0.2 seconds left on the shot clock, defenders were keyed up to block a shot from the Utah Jazz' Gordon Hayward Friday night.
But Hayward would not be the man of the hour — that honor went to forward Trevor Booker.
As Hayward passed the ball, Booker planted his feet and tipped it over his head without even looking.
He scored.
"Are you kidding me?" the announcer asked in disbelief. "I mean, if you want to define the phrase 'grandma shot,' that defines the phrase 'grandma shot.'"
"I've never seen anything like that in a game, ever," his co-host chimed in.
The NBA described Booker's basket as "the craziest circus shot of the year," but it wasn't quite enough to put the Jazz on top; the Oklahoma City Thunder won the game 99-94.
