Alleged Iraq Veteran's Sign Might Be the Most Effective Way to Protect a Parking Space

The above sign was spotted and photographed on Monday by Public Radio International editor David Beard, who said it was, "A Boston parking space-saver I respect."

It's actually one of the tamer space-saving measures in snow-slammed Boston.

With this winter dropping some 100 inches of snow on the Northeastern city, people in Boston have done everything from smashing windows to "putting the snow back" on cars that violate traditional space-saving rules.
