Former 'Meet the Press' Host David Gregory Tries, Fails to Keep This Speech 'Off the Record
He talked about media, tea party, Hillary Clinton and more...
Fired "Meet the Press" host David Gregory gave an "off the record" speech at an Independent Community Bankers of America conference on Wednesday, but his remarks didn't stay "off the record" for long.
Several people, including American Banker reporter Robert Barba, live-tweeted many of Gregory's comments despite the request to keep his speech unpublished.
In his speech, Gregory apparently admitted there is a "liberal bias" in the media and claimed the tea party has more in common with Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) than the establishment GOP. More from Barba:
