Robbery Suspect Armed With a Needle Threatens Woman — the Six Words His ‘Victim’ Shot Back Surely Left Him Stunned

There's no way he saw that coming.

A robbery suspect’s first mistake was messing with the wrong woman. His second mistake was threatening her. He avoided making a third — and potentially deadly mistake — by running away.

Horry County police say a man was caught on surveillance video threatening to inject a woman with a needle at an ATM in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, if she didn’t hand over her money.

The 40-year-old woman told officers she was withdrawing cash from the ATM when the man threatened her. She didn’t scream or panic, instead issuing the suspect a six-word “dare.”

“I dare you to stab me,” the woman reportedly said.

You see, the woman is a licensed concealed carry permit holder and was armed at the time. While she likely could have made the case that she feared for her life, she gave her attacker one chance to run.

The only words the suspect could come back with were, “Are you seriously going to do that to me?”

The robbery suspect then reportedly fled the scene and the woman dialed 911. Police are still trying to hunt the man down.
