Comedian Jim Norton Makes Female Panel Erupt in Gasps of Disagreement With Brutal Hillary Clinton Line

"I want to see a woman president, I really do. But..."

Comedian Jim Norton on Wednesday called former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton “psychotic” for falsely claiming that she came under sniper fire during a trip to Bosnia back in 2008. The line, delivered on Comedy Central’s “The Nightly Show,” sparked verbal attacks from critics online, who alleged the remark was steeped in “sexism.”

“I want to see a woman president, I really do. But Hillary Clinton is psychotic,” Norton said.

Nearly every other member of the female panel erupted in gasps of disagreement. One even asked, “Worse than Sarah Palin?”

“Sarah Palin is also psychotic,” Norton replied. “One is liberal, one is conservative -- they're not mutually exclusive, they are both nuts.”

The comedian went on hit Clinton for falsely claiming she was "in a war zone" and for changing her "inflection depending on the audience."

Far from apologizing or even clarifying his remarks, Norton later doubled down on Twitter and hit back against allegations that he is somehow sexist for not being a Clinton supporter.

“To the hypersensitive feminists Tweeting me, I would love a woman president, I just don't love Hillary. Get a hold of yourselves,” Norton tweeted after the show.

The comedian also replied personally to a handful of online critics, mocking them for alleging there was sexism behind his comments about Clinton. He was completely uncensored in most of his responses too, which is not unlike Norton.

“I didnt make a sexist comment you dope, I called Hillary psychotic for lying about being shot at in a war zone,” he tweeted.
