While the pro-Hillary Clinton super PAC Correct the Record has been on the record in the past saying there's been no coordination between them and the likely Democratic presidential candidate, the Washington Post reported that Clinton’s team has coordinated with the super PAC since controversy erupted over her private email use as secretary of state.
Such coordination would be illegal under federal election law if Clinton were a candidate or actively raising funds for a 2016 bid, but she isn't. Her formal announcement is expected in April.

The Post reported that Correct the Record, which focuses on defending Clinton in the media, received a set of brief talking points from Clinton’s office instructing it to be dismissive of the email story, and bring up that former Secretary of State Colin Powell also used a private email account. The head of the super PAC, Clinton-critic-turned-defender David Brock, reportedly did not feel the Clinton team’s talking points were detailed enough.
The Weekly Standard pointed out that this group and other pro-Clinton super PACs claimed there was no coordination with Clinton.
"We simply don't coordinate with Secretary Clinton or her staff," Correct the Record communications director Adrienne Elrod told Mother Jones in July 2014. "We make our own decisions beginning with the decision not to coordinate."
