A birthday party went terribly awry when the sparkler from a birthday cake got too close to the balloons, and the balloons exploded into a giant fireball.

The unidentified birthday boy was holding the cake and posing for a photo when his companions splattered an egg on his head, which seemingly caused him to inadvertently move the balloons closer to the sparkler. It wasn't long before the balloons erupted into a giant flame.
Australia's ninemsn commented: "It's not certain what the balloons were filled with, but it could not have been helium because, as a Noble Gas, it would only pop the balloons — not turn them into a gaseous fireball."
At the end of the video, the attendees were seen to be unhurt.
