He Called Our House Before, He Knows That': Kanye West Contradicts President Obama's Communication Claim
"Don't try to pit us against each other."
Does President Barack Obama have rapper Kanye West's home phone number, or doesn't he?
After the president told Jimmy Kimmel this past week that, contrary to West's claims, the pair does not speak on a regular basis, TMZ ambushed West at LAX on Friday and asked for his take.
"I love Obama," West responded. "He called our house before, he knows that."
Then he seemed to accuse the media of sowing division, saying, "Don't try to pit us against each other."
When asked about Rush Limbaugh's claim that had the racist chant sung by University of Oklahoma frat boys been a song by West, it would be hailed as a hit, West dodged the question, saying he hadn't heard Limbaugh's comparison.
