Get Over Your Temper Tantrum, Mr. President': John McCain Goes Off on Obama's Israel Relationship
March 22, 2015
"Get over it."
Sen. John McCain (R-Arizona) had strong words for President Barack Obama on CNN's "State of the Union" Sunday.
Noting that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had won reelection in "a free and fair democratic election" — something he noted most countries in the region don't have — McCain laid into Obama for his continued antipathy towards Netanyahu.
"The president should get over it," McCain said. "Get over your temper tantrum, Mr. President."
McCain called for Obama to "work with our Israeli friends."
