UPDATE 4:48 p.m. EST: NEW YORK (TheBlaze/AP) - Police said a second body has been found in the rubble after the apartment building explosion.

Three days after an apparent gas explosion in Manhattan's East Village, one body has been recovered, the Associated Press reported.

The Thursday explosion injured dozens of people and destroyed multiple buildings. Authorities said one person was still considered missing in connection with the explosion.
