Arnold Schwarzenegger's Epic Response When He's Asked if Constitution Should Be Amended So He Can Run for President

"It's unbelievable."

Legendary action movie star and former California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger may have been born in Austria — but make no mistake, he’s 100 percent American.

Appearing on SiriusXM’s “Opie With Jim Norton” radio show on Wednesday, Schwarzenegger proclaimed that he owes his entire career to the United States of America. The actor expressed his deep love for America after comedian Jim Norton asked if he had a desire to run for president, something he’s unable to do because he wasn’t born in the country.

“Everything that I have accomplished in my career is because of America,” he said. “Every single thing: my bodybuilding career, my movie career, the political career, my family, everything, the millions and millions of dollars that I have made in my life and everything. All those opportunities are because of America.”

“So, I’m not going to complain about the only job that I can’t do,” Schwarzenegger added. “I think much more about the great things that I could do. Only in America, you could have a career like that.”

Schwarzenegger joked that he came to America as nothing more than a “shyster from Austria,” but was able to go on to have a legendary career in Hollywood and eventually become the Republican governor of California.

“It’s unbelievable,” he said.

In an unrelated side note, Schwarzenegger revealed that he previously had a running competition with Sylvester Stallone to see who could become the biggest star and make the most money in films. It seems they both won.

The actor was promoting his new zombie drama "Maggie" on the radio show.
