Cecile Richards, president of Planned Parenthood Federation of America, slammed lawmakers who voted to pass a 20-week abortion ban on Wednesday, saying the bill lacks “compassion” and “respect.”
The U.S. House passed the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act, which would ban abortions after nearly five months, 242-184 on Wednesday, the two-year anniversary of the conviction of infamous abortion doctor Kermit Gosnell.
Richards called the abortion ban “unconstitutional” and alleged it would “hurt women.”

As Twitchy noted, Richards' comments had her online critics up in arms. Her take on the 20-week abortion ban was labeled "insane" and "sick."
Why doesn't the 5 month old baby also deserve compassion and respect? @CecileRichards— Bethany Bowra (@BethanyBowra) May 13, 2015
.@CecileRichards abortion is compassion now? What's next killing old people is compassion too?— Steve Madurski (@SMadurski) May 13, 2015
I don't even know where to begin with this disgusting tweet. I feel sick. https://t.co/gTh98cObHc— Brittany Cover (@bccover) May 13, 2015
We live in such a twisted world that @cecilerichards would dare to say NOT killing a baby is lacking compassion? This is INSANE.— Brittany Cover (@bccover) May 13, 2015
