PBS Journalist Called Out for Her Three-Word Message on Iran Deal: 'This Is What Media in China and North Korea Are Like
"Obama shill"
PBS journalist Gwen Ifill was lambasted online Wednesday after she posted a message seemingly praising the Iran nuclear deal while mocking Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
"Take that, Bibi," she wrote, linking to a tweet from the Obama administration's @IranDeal account created to promote nuclear agreement.

Her message, clearly lacking objectivity, came after President Barack Obama secured enough Democratic votes to ensure victory in his bitter fight with Congress over the controversial nuclear agreement with Iran.
The reactions to Ifill's taunting message on Twitter were instant and harsh.

@gwenifill Remind me again why you think you are a journalist. You think this was some kind of game? Obama shill.

@gwenifill A woman your age should have learned something about dignity.

@gwenifill To think you were once considered objective enough to moderate a vice-presidential debate.

She later reacted to the backlash, saying “every now and then, you inadvertently poke twitter in the eye. and it never disappoints.”
