A protester outside Trump Tower in New York City Thursday appeared to be punched by a security guard who had been carrying away a sign.
The man, identified as Efrain Galicia by New York 1, had grabbed the guard from behind as he took a blue sign that read "Trump: Make America Racist Again," the New York Times reported.

"They took all our banners and stuff. They wanted to rip them up but we rescued some of them," Galicia told the news station.

CNN's MJ Lee tweeted that the protester said he would be pressing charges, comparing the guard's treatment to how Trump treated Univision reporter Jorge Ramos at an August press conference.

In addition to signs that labeled Trump a racist, the protest included people dressed in Ku Klux Klan costumes.
