He Posted a Photo on Facebook Bragging About Being ‘on TV’ for Looting in Ferguson. Then His Mom Saw It.

"LMFAO."

Brandon Ward posted a photo on Facebook bragging about being "on TV" for looting during the Ferguson riots back in November.

But Ward's mom didn't want anyone thinking she raised her son to be a criminal, so she contacted the police. Her son was later questioned and, ultimately, arrested, the St. Louis Post Dispatch reported.

“LMFAO, I’m on TV,” Ward posted to Facebook in July, along with a photo of who he claims is him on TV. "LMFAO" is an abbreviation for "laughing my f***ing a** off."

Ward's mother alerted police after seeing his post and told officers she wanted them to know she didn't raise him to be a criminal. The information ultimately led to police arresting Brandon Ward on suspicion of looting.

He later admitted to participating in the looting and has now been charged with burglary and stealing, according to the Post-Dispatch.
