CNN Guest's Fiery Claim: Carson, Trump and Cruz Will Have 'Blood on Their Hands' if Gunman Attacks a Mosque

"And in the realm of possibility, in a country that is very armed that somebody that will be carrying [a] weapon will go to a mosque tomorrow — or after tomorrow..."

Commentator Rula Jebreal lambasted GOP presidential candidates during a "CNN Tonight" panel discussion on Monday, claiming that Donald Trump, Ben Carson and Ted Cruz would have "blood on their hands" if a gunman decided to attack a mosque.

Jebreal decried what she sees as anti-Islam sentiment coming from the candidates, and expressed dismay over her claim that negative comments about Muslims are currently appealing to the Republican base.

"We are discussing the first part of what was said and Trump endorsed, which is, 'We have a problem called Muslims' — but there's a second part: how to get rid of them," she said. "And in the realm of possibility, in a country that is very armed that somebody that will be carrying [a] weapon will go to a mosque tomorrow — or after tomorrow — and will start shooting people."

Jebreal continued, "And then these people will have blood on their hands. All of them. Carson, Trump and Ted Cruz."

The commentator also questioned why Muslims in America should be "criminalized" because of radical behavior and crimes that are committed in other nations like Iran and Saudi Arabia.
