Feds: All of Oregon Shooter’s Guns Were Purchased Legally

All of the Oregon community college shooter's guns were purchased legally, federal authorities said Friday.

A Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives agent said the shooter had 13 guns, all of which were purchased legally by the shooter or by members of his family.

Six guns were recovered at Umpqua Community College and seven were recovered from the shooter's home.

The new information came during a news conference where Douglas County, Oregon, Sheriff John Hanlin also provided updates on the Thursday shooting that left 10 dead and seven hurt.
