Hillary Clinton Grows Visibly Angry After She Steers Conversation From Email Scandal to Benghazi

"I would never have done that."

Hillary Clinton grew visibly angry while discussing the congressional investigation into the 2012 Benghazi terror attacks on Monday, accusing Republicans of exploiting the deaths of four Americans to hurt her politically.

Clinton brought up Benghazi when she was asked how she would have reacted if the “tables were turned” and it were former Vice President Dick Cheney who had used private email exclusively while in office.

She claimed she “would have never” gone after Cheney the way Republicans have attacked her, then brought up Benghazi as an example of what she maintains is a political witch hunt.

"This committee was set up, as they have admitted, for the purpose of making a partisan political issue out of the deaths of four Americans. I would never have done that,” Clinton said. “And if I were president and there were Republicans or Democrats thinking about that, I would have done everything to shut it down.

The former U.S. secretary of state argued several non-partisan investigations have cleared her of any wrongdoing regarding the Benghazi attacks.
