Watch Congressman Adam Schiff Awkwardly Sing 'Meet the Mets' on House Floor

Rep. Adam Schiff apparently lost quite the bet with one of his colleagues that left him literally singing the New York Mets' praises on the House floor Friday afternoon.

The California Democrat broke into an embarrassing rendition of "Meet the Mets" Friday after he said he lost a bet to Rep. Steve Israel (D-N.Y.) when the Mets defeated the Los Angeles Dodgers. Schiff even wore a Mets' tie during the performance.

"I lost a bet with Congressman Israel so now, Steve, this song is for you," Schiff said.

"Mr. Speaker, please tell me my time has expired," Schiff begged to no avail at the end of the song.
