Ben Carson Jokes About What He Might ‘Bring’ With Him to Debate to ‘Spice It Up a Little Bit’

Ben Carson joked ahead of the Republican presidential debate that perhaps he'd "bring some weapons" with him to "spice" things up.

The remark was prompted by a question from a reporter who asked if the soft-spoken candidate needed to "ramp it up a little bit" to distinguish himself from the nine others.

"Maybe I’ll bring some weapons with me, spice it up a little bit," Carson jokingly shot back.

The retired neurosurgeon has seen a significant drop in the polls in recent weeks and many political analysts have suggested he needs to break out during Tuesday's debate to reestablish his dominance.
