Police shot both assailants.
JERUSALEM (AP) — Israeli police say one Palestinian assailant was killed and a second was badly wounded after a stabbing attack on Israelis outside Jerusalem's Old City.
Police spokeswoman Luba Samri says the two Palestinians attacked Jewish pedestrians outside the city's Jaffa Gate. Samri says police shot both assailants.
She says three Israelis were wounded in the attack, one of them possibly by policemen who were shooting at the assailants.

Jaffa Gate is a popular spot for tourists visiting Jerusalem's walled Old City.
Since mid-September, near-daily Palestinian stabbing, shooting and car ramming attacks have killed 19 Israelis and an American student. Nearly 120 Palestinians have died by Israeli fire in the same period, including 81 said by Israel to be attackers. The rest have been killed in clashes with Israeli security forces.
