Trump Rebukes Hecklers at Vermont Rally, Then Gets Revenge With His Demand for Security
January 07, 2016
"Tell him we'll send it to him in a couple of weeks."
Republican frontrunner Donald Trump rebuked several protesters who interrupted his campaign speech in Vermont Thursday, scoring some additional revenge by instructing security to throw the individuals out into the cold without their coats.
"Get him out of here!" Trump told security. "Don't give him his coat. Don't give him his coat! Keep his coat. Confiscate his coat. You know, it's about 10 degrees below zero outside. You can keep his coat. Tell him we'll send it to him in a couple of weeks."
Trump issued the demand again when another individual disrupted his campaign event.
"There may be a remnant," the billionaire said into the microphone. "Oh no, it's only the same people coming down the stairs. No, there's a remnant right there! OK, throw him out into the cold! Don't give them their coat. No coats! No coats! Confiscate their coats!"
At speeches, Trump has often joked about how the media covers his treatment of protesters. The real estate billionaire often says that if he is too harsh, he is criticized by journalists and political commentators.
