‘The View’ Reacts to Carly's Jab at Hillary's Marriage — Listen to Host's 2-Word Defense of Clinton
January 15, 2016
"For me, Hillary staying with Bill is a major selling point for Hillary."
The ladies of "The View" reacted on Friday to Republican presidential contender Carly Fiorina's jab at Hillary Clinton's marriage — and one host in particular offered a colorful two-word defense of the Democratic frontrunner.
At Thursday's undercard GOP debate, Fiorina commented, “Unlike another woman in this race, I actually love spending time with my husband."
That did not sit well with the hosts of "The View."
"For me, Hillary staying with Bill is a major selling point for Hillary," host Michelle Collins said. "Because it shows me that she can commit. She is a woman — she will commit to her man and she will commit to her country."
Collins closed with a colorful two-word remark: "Bi*ch commits."
Those two words prompted the audience to erupt in applause and reaction from the other hosts.
"What Hillary did by staying in her marriage — amidst all the things going on, all the infidelity — I think is sort of a credit to staying together," another host said.
Raven-Symoné followed up, asking if Clinton possibly stayed in her marriage to advance her political career.
"What's wrong with that?" Joy Behar asked.
