We Asked Jeb Bush to Respond to Donald Trump's 'Mommy' Attack — Here's How He Responded

Republican presidential contender Jeb Bush had a sharp answer Saturday when asked to respond to Donald Trump's tweet suggesting the governor needed his "mommy" to come in and rescue the campaign.

"I love my mother," Bush told TheBlaze, speaking in Nashua, New Hampshire.

"Donald Trump doesn't know who he is messing with when he is messing with Barbara Bush," he said. "This is such a crazy world we are living in where a grown man is so insecure he feels compelled to attack everything all over — disabled, women, POWs, Hispanics."

"He thinks thats the way you are going to win the presidency, by tearing everybody apart, tearing them down?" asked Bush.

"Thats not strong man," he added. "Thats a sign of a man who is deeply insecure and weak. How about that for your apples? You can feed a little political kerosene onto your process."

Bush was responding to a tweet trump sent out Friday night, denigrating Barbara Bush's recent role in his campaign.

"Just watched Jeb's ad where he desperately needed mommy to help him," he tweeted. "Jeb --- mom can't help you with ISIS, the Chinese or with Putin."
