Whoa!': Local News Anchor's 'Biggest Blooper So Far' Sends Him Into a Fit of On-Air Laughter. Just Watch and You'll See Why.
January 26, 2016
"Thank you for beginning your week with us and..."
When local news anchor Chris Quimby recently attempted to close out his morning broadcast, a slip of the tongue left both him and fellow reporter Lyn Tesseyman roaring with laughter.
"Thank you for beginning your week with us and we hope you end it with us," he said before mistakingly adding, "In Jesus' name..." as though he were ending a prayer.
Abruptly catching himself in the middle of his error, he blurted out, "Whoa! Amen."
Both he and Tesseyman, who work for VStv in Rockport, Maine, proceeded to have a good laugh over the slip-up, with Quimby later taking to his Facebook page to lightheartedly call the moment his "biggest blooper so far."
Watch the segment unfold below:
In addition to anchoring the VStv "Morning Report," among other local programs, Quimby is a Christian comedian, speaker and writer.
