Trump Attacks Ben Sasse — and the GOP Senator Hits Back With Response Sure to Get Under His Skin

"[T]otally ineffective."

Republican frontrunner Donald Trump unleashed a Twitter assault on Sen. Ben Sasse (R-Neb.) Friday night — and the Republican senator fired right back.

Trump's attack came after several days of criticism from Sasse over questions about the real estate mogul's former political positions.

On Friday night, Trump could take no more.

Sasse responded, poking fun at the length of the billionaire's fingers.

The length of Trump's fingers has been used this week by critics to poke fun at him. The Free Beacon ran a story highlighting the issue and others have tweeted photos that seemingly show the short length of his hands.

Trump has yet to respond to Sasse.
