See Tweet Ted Cruz's Rapid Response Director Posted During Iowa Caucuses, Then Quickly Deleted
February 01, 2016
The rapid response director for Texas Sen. Ted Cruz's presidential campaign appeared to have a problem with the Fox News Channel's election coverage Monday night.
As the Iowa caucus results were rolling in, Cruz aide Brian Phillips tweeted, "Does Fox News employ ANYONE that doesn't shill for Rubio?"
The tweet was noticed by CNN host Brian Stelter and, after it garnered some attention, quickly deleted.
It was not clear exactly what Phillips was upset about, but many have accused political pundits in recent weeks of hyping Rubio's campaign.
A representative for the Cruz campaign did not immediately respond to TheBlaze's request for comment.
