Michael Bloomberg Confirms He's Eyeing White House Run

Former New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg is "looking at all the options" when it comes to mounting a bid for the presidency, he confirmed today.

The candidate has reportedly been weighing an independent run at the White House this cycle due to his unhappiness with the current field of 2016 candidates.

Bloomberg didn't dispute the reports today and said he's weighing his options in an interview with the Financial Times.

"I find the level of discourse and discussion distressingly banal and an outrage and an insult to the voters,” Bloomberg said according to FT, and added that the American people deserve "a lot better."
